Student Completion Records
Certificates of Completion
A certificate becomes available after all required course activities
and assessments have been successfully completed and recorded.
Certificate Availability
When a Certificate Is Issued
A certificate is issued only after Tutor LMS records successful
completion of the course. Passing an examination alone may not
complete the course if required lessons or activities remain
unfinished.
After satisfying the course requirements, return to the course
outline or student dashboard and confirm that the course status
shows complete.
Certificate access is associated with the student account that
completed the course and may be limited to the active membership
period.

Certificate Details
Verify the Recorded Information
Student Name
The name should identify the licensed professional who personally
completed the course.
Course Title
The title should correspond with the course shown in the student
account and completion history.
Completion Date
The date determines the renewal period in which the credit was earned.
Credit Hours
The certificate should identify the professional-development hours
assigned to the course.
Provider
Provider information should identify the SurveyorCE educational
platform and its operator as applicable.
Completion Evidence
The certificate documents successful completion but remains subject
to the receiving licensing authority’s requirements.
Corrections
If the Certificate Information Is Incorrect
Check the name and account information stored in your student
profile. Certificate information may be generated from the
profile associated with the completed course.
If a correction cannot be made through your account, contact
SurveyorCE before reporting the credit. Identify the course,
completion date, account email, incorrect information, and
requested correction.
Troubleshooting
If the Certificate Is Not Available
A
Check Course Progress
Return to the course outline and look for an incomplete lesson,
activity, or assessment.
B
Confirm the Passing Attempt
Verify that Tutor LMS recorded a passing assessment result under
the correct student account.
C
Request Assistance
If the course shows complete but no certificate is available,
contact SurveyorCE with the relevant course and account information.
Download certificates before your SurveyorCE membership expires.
Course access and online certificate availability may end with the
active membership period. Personal copies should be retained
independently of the website.
Professional Credit
A Certificate Does Not Guarantee Acceptance
A SurveyorCE certificate documents successful course completion.
The applicable licensing authority determines whether the course
satisfies its subject, provider, format, and credit requirements.
Retain the course description, learning objectives, and provider
information with the certificate in case additional documentation
is requested.
Record Retention
Keep Certificates for the Required Period
Licensing boards establish their own record-retention periods.
Professionals holding multiple licenses should generally preserve
documentation for the longest applicable period unless a controlling
rule requires another approach.
Maintain backups and organize certificates by completion date,
renewal period, license, or jurisdiction so they can be retrieved
efficiently during an audit.
