Course Information
Previewing Courses
Review the available course information before enrolling so you can
evaluate the subject, learning objectives, credit hours, and
professional relevance.
Before Enrolling
Evaluate the Course Before You Begin
The SurveyorCE catalog is intended to provide enough information
for a student to evaluate a course before beginning it. Review the
course page to determine whether the subject, level, and intended
audience are appropriate for your professional needs.
Preview information does not replace the complete course. Full
educational materials, required lessons, assessments, and
certificates are available through the applicable student-access
and enrollment process.
The licensee remains responsible for determining whether a course
is relevant to professional practice and acceptable to the
licensing authority receiving the credit.

Preview Limitations
Preview Information Is Not Course Completion
Reviewing a description, outline, sample, or publicly available
lesson does not constitute course completion and does not qualify
for professional-development credit.
Credit requires completion of the assigned educational materials,
required assessments, and all other conditions stated on the
course page.
Some course pages may provide publicly available introductory or sample
material when preview access has been enabled for that course. The
availability of a preview lesson does not mean that all course content
can be accessed without enrollment.
Professional Credit
Confirm Course Acceptance
Course preview information can assist with evaluating professional
relevance, but only the applicable licensing authority can make a
binding determination concerning acceptance.
When eligibility is uncertain, provide the course title, description,
objectives, credit hours, delivery method, and provider information
to the licensing board before claiming the credit.
