Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about SurveyorCE membership, course access, continuing-education credit, certificates, payments, and account support.
Membership and Access
Using SurveyorCE
What does membership cost?
The SurveyorCE unlimited-access membership is offered for a one-time payment of $135 and provides a fixed 24-month access term.
Is this a recurring subscription?
No. The membership is not an automatically renewing subscription. Continued access after expiration requires a new purchase when an eligible offering is available.
When does the 24-month term begin?
The term begins when membership access is activated for the applicable student account. The account or membership record controls the specific dates.
Can membership be paused?
Membership does not ordinarily pause, freeze, or extend because of inactivity. Students should plan their coursework within the active term.
Courses and Completion
Learning on the platform
How do I select a course?
Review the course topic, learning objectives, credit information, intended audience, and any jurisdiction-specific limitations before beginning.
How do I complete a course?
Follow the required lessons and activities, complete the assessment, satisfy the stated passing requirements, and confirm completion in your dashboard.
May I preview courses?
Available catalog and course information may be reviewed before enrollment. The extent of any preview depends on how the particular course is configured.
May I repeat a course?
Platform access and licensing-credit eligibility are different questions. A course may be technically repeatable even when a board will not award duplicate credit.
Credit and Licensing
Professional responsibility
Does every board accept every course?
No provider can guarantee universal acceptance. Requirements vary by jurisdiction, license type, renewal period, subject, delivery method, and course content.
Is SurveyorCE board approved?
Provider approval and course preapproval rules differ among boards. Review the specific jurisdiction and do not assume that one approval applies everywhere.
What are PDH, CE, and CPC?
These terms describe continuing-education credit or compliance concepts, but their exact definitions and conversion rules may vary by licensing authority.
Who determines whether a course qualifies?
The licensee is responsible for confirming that a course satisfies the applicable board’s current requirements. The licensing authority has final authority over credit acceptance.
Certificates and Records
Documenting completion
When is a certificate issued?
A certificate is issued after the platform records satisfaction of the course’s required completion conditions.
How long should I keep my records?
Follow the retention period required by each applicable licensing authority. Download certificates and maintain independent copies with your professional records.
Will certificates remain available after expiration?
Continued online availability should not be assumed. Download and preserve all needed certificates before membership access expires.
What if information on a certificate is incorrect?
Confirm that your account profile is accurate, then contact SurveyorCE with the course title, completion date, and a description of the correction needed.
Payments and Support
Resolving common problems
What if I paid but do not have access?
Verify that you are signed in with the intended email address and avoid creating a duplicate account or submitting another payment. Contact support if access remains unavailable.
What is the refund policy?
Review the published Refund Policy for the applicable eligibility, timing, and request procedures.
How should I request support?
Use the Contact Us page and include the account email address, relevant course or transaction information, and a concise description of the problem.
Should I send my password or card number?
No. Never send a password, full payment-card number, security code, or other unnecessary sensitive information in a support request.
